Motorola is reportedly developing a new G-series smartphone. On 3 September, a Motorola device with model number XT2533-4 appeared in China’s 3C certification database. Now, this device has been listed on China’s TENAA website. The TENAA listing reveals full specifications but does not include images of the device.
According to the listing, the Motorola XT2533-4 will feature a 6.72-inch LCD panel with a 1080×2400 pixel resolution. It houses a 2.4GHz octa-core processor, which could be the Mediatek Dimensity 6300. The SoC has two Cortex-A76 cores and six Cortex-A55 cores. It also comes with a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU.
The Motorola XT2533-4 will offer RAM options of 4GB, 8GB, 12GB, and 16GB, alongside storage variants of 64GB, 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB. The device will come with a 6790mAh battery, and according to 3C certification, it will support 33W fast charging.
The phone will feature a dual rear camera setup with a 50MP lens and an 8MP lens. On the front, it will have a 32MP camera. The dimensions of the device are 166.3 x 76.5 x 8.7 mm, and it weighs 210g. Additionally, the device will support fingerprint recognition and facial recognition.
According to previous leaks, this device may be named the Moto G36 5G. Its predecessor, the Moto G35 5G, powered by the Unisoc T760 SoC, starts at $162. The Moto G36 5G offers significant upgrades in processor, battery, display, and charging capabilities, suggesting its price may also increase.
